Food is very very expensive for the quantity they give. Biryani is not good. It’s just like fried rice. Come on. At least try to make it little better. They have lamb chilli in menu but Don’t get fooled . They will give lamb curry. They don’t know the difference between lamb chilli and lamb curry. Not impressed.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa. Always flavourful and tasty. Great to have different levels of spiciness/heat available.

Ordered the Chicken Tikka and a naan bread via Uber Eats - and was very pleased. The Chicken Tikka was fresh, tasty (even though I am used to a darker sauce) and a substantial portion, especially for the price. The naan also impressed me - fresh, tasty and still warm from the oven. Food arrived very quickly. Overall very enjoyable, and reasonably priced - an excellent option for Indian in Lowertown, especially under these difficult COVID-19 circumstances. Thank you RamaKrishna, and hope you all stay safe and well.Update 25-04-20: Have tried a couple more dishes since my review above, and agree with another poster below that the coconut curry fish is delicious - it's now my go-to main. Also, really like the mango salad - and it's good value.

Food is delicious. Value for money. Nice ambiance

We ordered pakora, garlic naans and kadai paneer. Kadai paneer was spicy:) as I requested and delicious. Will definitely recommend ramakrishna for authentic Indian food

I originally ordered through doordash but the app crashed and the driver completely bailed without telling me. The restaurant was kind enough to deliver my order free of charge. I highly recommend ordering directly from the restaurant and skipping the apps. Food was so flavourful, good portions and very reasonably priced. We ordered the lamb curry, eggplant bharta and 4 in one chicken. It was all spot on! Will definitely be ordering from them again!

We ordered takeout and were very disappointed given the otherwise good reviews. Curries were very salty and oily, the rice oily as well. The Mulligatawny soup had a sedimented texture and bad flavor. On top of that, the naan bread was missing from our order

Tried today for the first time. Buffet for 4 of us including our picky eater son and beef allergy niece. All enjoyed and were full when we left. Great prices, fresh quality food, clean, inviting atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, pleasant little spot. So glad we found it!!

Had an amazing experience here. The wait staff are friendly and were very helpful with recommendations. I had the Korma Special, rice and naan along with Cheetah beer. Delicious I was stuffed.

Prompt and friendly service, delicious and flavorful food with ample portions. Price is a bit higher thab other places but is reflected in the food. Wonderful spot with a buffet on Sundays

Buffet not impressive. I heard alacarte is good and make the spice level as per ur needs.

Just ate from here for the first time (uber eats delivery) and wow. Awesome tasty meal. The mango chicken was cooked to perfection in the clay oven and at the just the right spice level that I requested. I have a decent size appetite and the portion was also right on the mark. I will definitely order again!

Went for date night and it was lovely. Great food, clean and nice decor. We had three different people looking after us. Felt spoiled! I highly recommend!

The food was good. Great location. The management was very accomodating because we were a large group with lots of noisy kids. The service was quick. Price is on the higher side even for vegetarian items possibly because of the location. But we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Old buffet was good. New one is better.

Excellent menu; all items available as mild, medium, and hot (medium just a bit of heat). Interesting desserts. Attentive service, and prices are reasonable.

I typically don't write reviews but I feel I'm obliged to give a review to a restaurant where the food quality exceeded my expectations! I Enjoyed every dish ordered from this place. Great and rich in quality, you just enjoy every bite of food you take in. You never get bored and always wait for the next bite! I hope you keep it up and maintain the same level of quality on the long run. Best of luck and surely I'll become a regular customer.

Great service, food is amazing! Had the Shahi Paneer Combo and was very very tasty! Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed dinner here. My coconut butter fish was a 10/10. I also tried the lamb tikka and it was spot on, but be warned it had a little heat to it. Service was excellent and the place was spotless and very clean. Price was very reasonable. I'll be back for sure

It’s my first day in Ottawa. I was looking for a tasty Indian food and I found RamaKrishna. Love your food guys. It was really really tasty. And Thanks for green tea. Great customer service. Keep it up guys.

The food was great and fresh. They served a lot of foods in the buffet. The buffet is 15 dollars. I would say it is a must try place. Chicken curry was really fresh and great. Butter Naan was also good. Fish curry could have been better. Rest of the foods also were really good. Since the restaurant name is a South indian name, some south Indian dishes in the buffet menu could have been better.

Food was tasty and nicely presented. Looking forward to try the buffet option.

Excellent food every time I had stopped or ordered here. I think that the Ramakrishna restaurant is an excellent addition to the Ottawa restaurant scene! Every dish that I have ordered, as well as the in-house service have been outstanding. Also A BIG THANK YOU for making all your packaging recyclable and environmentally friendly. It weighs significantly on my decision when I order or pick up!

My family and I have ordered a few times from this wonderful restaurant during this quarantine situation. The food is delicious; lots of vegetarian options. The samosas are exceptional as well as the Aloo Gobi. We will order many times more and I cannot wait to try their food in person! Delicious and thank you for the fresh meals and great delivery.

Service was very good and we liked the setting and ambience of the restaurant. The food we ordered tasted good. Although we had a good experience, it would be even better if the cuisine is more diverse. That's the only reason for the 4 stars and if they are able to improve the cuisine, I'd be happy to give 5. Street parking is available just outside the restaurant. Menu is priced just fine.

Absolutely amazing butter chicken and garlic naan.

The decor, the service and most importantly, the food were all great. My wife and I shared appetizers, the samosas with chick pea Curry and Aloo Tikka and loved them both. My entreé was lamb vindaloo with garlic naan and my wife had chicken tikka from the tandoori menu. The food was delicious, cooked just right and good portions. The naan was about the best I've had.The service was prompt and very friendly and it is apparent they take great pride in their restaurant.Until now, we haven't found our go to place for Indian dining when we are visiting Ottawa. We will definitely be back.

I really enjoyed my eating experience here. I wasn't very knowledgeable about Indian food. I was bowled over. Everything was tremendous. We had a set menu. The flavors were very nice. The spices weren't overwhelming at all. Personally, I'm not able to handle spicy foods and I enjoyed everything. One of our appetizers was a mango salad that was simply divine. The food was delicious and presented in a beautiful unhurried manner. Our group was made welcome and were never hurried. The washroom was very clean and well appointed. I hope to return, often. Definitely recommend. Two thumbs up!

Good place to have a tasty food n good service. The place was clean n nicely decorated. We had vegetarian dishes and that all were perfect. The person was easy to deal amd helpful in the menu.

5 Stars. Much needed restaurant in Ottawa which can serve authentic Indian meal. Variety, Service, cleanliness and above all the taste of food is great. Me and my wife loves going to this place all the time, which is rare because the two of us never agree on the same thing

After trying so many Indian restaurants in Ottawa this one was one of the best one! The food here is really good and the place is really pretty. The service was also great being a vegetarian, they really helped me out with the food and worked around me. Highly recommeing this place to everyone!

Stopped in after skating for the lunch buffet. (14.95$) staff were pleasant and welcoming. Food was delicious.( I couldn't stop and I definitely ate too much!) The buffet was clean and dishes were always an appropriate fullness and freshness. The naan was exceptionally delicious and overall the entire place had a very pleasant atmosphere. All very clean and I would highly recommend.

It was not bad the service very good and the employees and the owner are very nice and respectifull to the customer but the should make a bit more change in the food recipies because migh test exact like indian food like chicken tandoori and sone others stuf thank you

I visited earlier today with my girlfriend and brother and had an excellent experience. Upon entering, the restaurant was empty, and it meant that upon ordering I wasn't super hopeful regarding how good the meal would be. My earlier thoughts were quickly washed away upon arrival of the first dish. Aloo Tikki was very well made, with crisp pieces of potato topped in a spicy mixture that was alleviated by a yoghurt sauce and mint chutney. The quality of dishes only continued with a paneer curry, that featured well textured pieces of paneer in a spicy, warming sauce. A biryani was well made, and an Aloo Gobi was of equal measure. I would never had expected RamaKrishna to be so incredible, but I am very glad to have discovered an Ottawa gem.

One of the finest restaurant in Ottawa. I was in Ottawa 2 weeks and visited 2 times. Food and Service are excellent .Recommending for sure. Just visit the restaurant and try.

What a pleasure to find this dining experience. The food was flavourful fresh and served just right. The service outstanding and staff are so friendly and welcoming. A classy atmosphere perfect for date night before the show or a fun family night out. Thanks for tonight we will be back
